Hello everybody!
This is the first post on my new blog. My first one failed due to lack of posting, but I am determined this time! I am hoping to update weekly, which should not be too difficult because of how busy I am this time of year.
I am finally starting on the film score for In the Deathroom, a student film directed by Luke Cheney, a student here at CU. The score will be very fun to write, a lot of creepy string effects - my favorite! A week ago I attended the first reading of Starry Night over the Rhone with the Palmer Ridge High School Symphonic Winds, and was very impressed by their musicianship for Freshman and Sophomores in High School. Plus, it was great to see Butch Eversole again! Finally, my amazing girlfriend Anna Seda has been working very hard to put together Prelude and Dance for Violoncello Solo for the April 8th Pendulum Performance here at CU. The piece is extremely difficult, and I'm sure she is fighting her urge not to beat me up for it, but I am very pleased with her committment!
Well that's just about everything, more to come later!
